Busy and popular spot for all levels. Longboarders, beginners and surf schools tend to hang around the peak by the more sheltered headland at the north side of the beach. There are always a few peaks going south that offer a bit more punch and a chance to find a quieter wave. This is a low to mid tide spot with access cut off on the rising tide and can be fun at all sizes. Parking is limited at the bottom but the view is worth walking down from the other car parks at the top of the cliffs. The webcam côte des basques allows surfers to check the conditions before heading out.
